Terms and Conditions for The Detailer

1.   Services Offered

The Detailer provides mobile vehicle detailing services, which include exterior washing, interior cleaning, waxing, polishing, and other related services as agreed upon by the customer and business. Services may vary based on the package selected.

2.   Booking & Payment

• All bookings must be made in advance through our website, phone, or email.

• A £25 deposit is required for bookings, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the service.

• Payments can be made via cash or bank transfer.

• Payments are due in full upon completion of the service. Failure to pay on time may result in additional fees or legal action.

3.   Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee of £50.

• If The Detailer arrives at the designated time and is unable to perform the service due to customer unavailability or incorrect details, a cancellation fee may apply.

• The Detailer reserve's the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

4.   Customer Responsibilities

• The customer must ensure that the vehicle is accessible and in a safe location for detailing. Access to power and a water source will be required.

• The customer must inform The Detailer of any special requests, concerns, or issues with the vehicle prior to the service.

• The customer is responsible for removing personal belongings from the vehicle before detailing begins. The Detailer not liable for any lost or damaged personal items.

5.   Liability & Damages

• The Detailer will take all reasonable care to avoid damage to the vehicle. However, the detailer is not liable for pre-existing damage or conditions, including but not limited to faded paint, rust, chips, or cracks.

• In the event of accidental damage caused during the detailing process, The Detailer will take responsibility for repair costs, provided the damage is directly caused by his actions.

• The customer agrees to inspect the vehicle upon completion of service and notify The Detailer of any concerns immediately. Failure to report damages will result in the loss of liability.

6.   Vehicle Condition

• The Detailer reserves the right to refuse service if the vehicle is excessively dirty, contains hazardous materials, or is in an unsafe condition (e.g., animal waste, severe interior damage). If this occurs, the customer will be notified, and a cancellation fee may apply.

7.   Pricing & Additional Charges

• The price for services is based on the size, condition, and type of the vehicle. Additional charges may apply for excessive dirt, pet hair removal, or extra services requested by the customer.

• All prices are subject to change, and the price quoted at the time of booking will be honoured unless otherwise agreed upon.

8.   Confidentiality & Privacy

• The Detailer will never share customer information with third parties without consent, except as required by law. Customer details will only be used for booking purposes and service communications.

9.   Complaints & Disputes

• Any complaints or issues must be reported to The Detailer within 48 hours of the service being completed.

• The Detailer will make every effort to address and resolve complaints fairly. If a resolution is not possible, the dispute may be taken to a third-party mediation service.

10.   Force Majeure

• The Detailer shall not be held liable for any delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.

11.   Termination

• Either party may terminate services by giving notice in writing. If the customer terminates after the service has begun, no refund will be provided.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if the customer is abusive, uncooperative, or breaches any of these terms.

12.   Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved within the appropriate jurisdiction.
